I have been doing some work with B/W and wanted to create something a little different. If you look closely, you will see another lifebouy on the opposite wall of the quay.

This is part of a sculpture which is on Crosby beach (just north of Liverpool) the sculpture is of several bronze figures all looking out to sea. I retouched the sky using Photoshop for this eerie image.

Winter Waterfall

On a cold and frosty Friday morning I took a wander to my local park and managed to capture this image. I love the way the water is splashing towards me, and the contrast of light and shade.

Sunderland

Here is a picture I took last month. I was staying in Sunderland, NE England. I woke up very early and decided to take a walk out on this pier with my camera.

I spent a good few years photographing and researching this part of Liverpool. It is St James Cemetery, where the great and small of 19th century Liverpool rest. You can read more by visiting my web site at http://stjamescemetery.co.uk.

The picture shows the stone of Kitty Wilkinson while the mausoleum of William Huskisson MP looms out of the background.

Where we all Live

This is one of my favorite pictures of Liverpool. I took this from the top of the Anglican Cathedral, and it shows the layout of streets in what is known as 'The Georgian Quarter.'

In the foreground is Gambier Terrace, partly designed by John Foster and behind that is the Church of St Brides.

This is the area that I am proud to call home.
